Def Leppard Music Goes Online, Finally!
Finally, fans of the legendary hard-rock band Def Leppard around the globe will access their entire music catalog streaming on such popular services as Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon Music and six other most prominent platform.
In fact, Def Leppard are one of the world's top-grossing music artists having sold more than 100 million records. Def Leppard are an exceptional band that have been demonstrating their unshakable power and loyalty to music over decades.
However, by this time, British rockers were somewhat resistant to the idea of posting their catalog on digital services. It was difficult for the listeners to find a full Def Leppard's discography in the open access. Finally, it happened, and it looks like a wonderful surprise for the fans.
Nevertheless, at the same time, that begs the question - why did not they do it before. Lead vocalist Joe Elliot explains this by the fact that Def Leppard had a certain contract with the label, which did not support the idea of playing "old" music on modern listening platforms.
After reaching the necessary consensus with Universal Music Group, Def Leppard have solved this question and finally made their discography available for streaming and digital download.
On the other hand, the situation with music access was not very critical, as the Def Leppard have been actively touring and releasing new studio albums over the last 10 years. Moreover, the band does not fall back now and along with the news about the discography, they announce a new 60-day tour in 2018.
Last summer, the band celebrated the 30th anniversary of their legendary 'Hysteria' album (1987), so the upcoming tour will mainly focus on this certain musical work. By the way, album, which became platinum 12 times, is best known for hits such, as ‘Love Bites’, ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’ and ‘Animal’ will be sound again in the largest cities across the U.S. and the U.K.
