Albuquerque concert rescheduled
Def Leppard and Journey were expected to play a concert in Albuquerque, NM earlier this month but powerful winds forced its postponement. The show at Isleta Amphitheater had begun as planned with Journey starting their opening set. As the wind got stronger, the show was stopped after only five songs.
Following a brief time-frame, the concert was called off entirely for security reasons. Perhaps, not the first time that the Def Leppard concert was hit by poor weather for an outside amphitheater.
Stage crews worked tirelessly to securely bring down screens, speakers and lights, which were slamming into each other.
So the new Albuquerque date for Def Leppard & Journey concert at Isleta Amphitheater has been changed for Tuesday, Sept. 18.
Tickets for the first series on Sept. 5 will be valid on the new date.
